When you save a TikTok with the app's own download option, a TikTok logo and the creator's username move around the frame. That's fine for sending a clip to a friend, but not when you want a clean copy of your own video to keep, edit or post elsewhere. This guide shows how to save a TikTok video without that watermark using Vidizza on a phone or a computer, how to keep only the sound as MP3, and how to do it responsibly.

What "without the watermark" means

TikTok adds its watermark when a video is saved through the app's Save video option. It usually shows:

  • the TikTok logo
  • the creator's @username

A download without the watermark is the video as it was posted, without that extra overlay. Vidizza saves TikTok videos this way.

Two things are worth knowing:

  • Text and stickers stay. Anything the creator placed on the video while editing is part of the picture itself.
  • The username disappears too. The watermark is also how the creator gets credit. If you share a video that isn't yours, give that credit yourself.

Before you start

Vidizza runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install and no account to create. It's free, with no subscription, paid plan or hidden fees; the site is supported by ads and optional donations.

All you need is the link to the TikTok video. Both the short link from the app's share menu and the full tiktok.com address work. The same link box also takes YouTube, Instagram (posts and Reels) and X links; the platform is detected automatically.

How to download a TikTok video on your phone (Android and iPhone)

  1. Open the video in the TikTok app.
  2. Tap Share (the arrow icon) and choose Copy link.
  3. Open your browser (Chrome, Safari or any other) and go to vidizza.com.
  4. Tap the Paste button at the left end of the link box (on a phone it shows only a clipboard icon). If the browser asks for clipboard access, allow it; if it refuses, press and hold inside the box and choose Paste.
  5. Tap DOWNLOAD. Vidizza recognizes the TikTok link and shows a preview of the video.
  6. Tap Download Video. If you only want the sound, tap Download Audio Only instead.
  7. Wait until the download completes. The file is saved as Vidizza.mp4 (or Vidizza.mp3 for audio).

Where to find the file

  • Android: the video usually lands in the Downloads folder. Open it from your Files app or your browser's downloads list.
  • iPhone: if Safari asks whether you want to download the file, tap Download. The video goes to the Files app, in the Downloads folder. To move it to Photos, open it in Files, tap the share icon and choose Save Video.

How to download a TikTok video on a computer

  1. Open the video on tiktok.com in your browser.
  2. Copy the address from the address bar, or use Share and then Copy link.
  3. Open Vidizza in a new tab.
  4. Paste the link into the box with Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac), or click Paste.
  5. Click DOWNLOAD and wait for the preview.
  6. Click Download Video or Download Audio Only.

The file is saved to your browser's usual download folder.

What about video quality?

There is no quality menu for TikTok; you get one ready-to-use file. If the original is already in the widely supported H.264 format, Vidizza delivers it as it is. Otherwise it is converted with high-quality settings so it plays on phones and computers without extra apps.

Saving only the audio as MP3

The Download Audio Only button saves the sound as an MP3 file. It's handy for keeping the voice-over from your own video, or a talk or interview you are allowed to reuse.

Be careful with music. Many TikToks use songs from the app's sound library, which are licensed for use on TikTok. Saving the audio as an MP3 does not give you the right to use a song in your own projects elsewhere.

Use it responsibly and credit the creator

  • Your own videos are yours. Saving your own TikToks is a simple way to keep a backup, or to post the same clip on other platforms without the TikTok logo.
  • Ask before reusing someone else's video. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without permission may be illegal and against TikTok's terms. Vidizza's own terms put it plainly: "Do not download copyrighted content without permission."
  • Respect the creator's settings. If a creator has turned off downloads for their videos, take that as a clear sign they don't want them saved.
  • Always give credit. When you have permission to share, name the creator by their @username and link to the original video. Never present someone else's work as your own.

Vidizza does not keep copies of the videos you download.

Common problems

  • The content is unavailable or restricted: videos from private accounts and deleted videos can't be saved.
  • "Many downloads are currently in progress": the service is busy, or your network has reached the hourly fair-use limit for TikTok (each IP address has one per platform). Wait a while and try again.
  • "This page has been open for a while": refresh the page and start again.

FAQ

Is it free to download TikTok videos with Vidizza?

Yes. There is no subscription, paid plan or hidden fee, and you don't need an account or an app.

Will the downloaded video have a watermark?

No. Vidizza saves TikTok videos without the TikTok logo and username overlay. Text or stickers the creator added while editing are part of the video, so they remain.

Can I download TikTok videos on an iPhone?

Yes. Open Vidizza in Safari, follow the phone steps above, then find the file in Files > Downloads and save it to Photos from there.

Can I save a TikTok as MP3?

Yes. Tap Download Audio Only once the preview appears. Keep in mind that music from TikTok's library may not be yours to reuse elsewhere.

Is it legal to download TikTok videos?

It depends on the content and the laws where you live. Saving your own videos, or videos you have permission to download, is fine. Downloading or sharing other people's copyrighted content without permission may be illegal and against TikTok's terms.

Paste a link and save the video for free.
