How to download Instagram Reels and videos

    Copy the Instagram link

    Open the Reel or video post, tap the paper-plane Share icon and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the post's address from the browser.

    Paste it into Vidizza

    Paste the link into the box above, or use the Paste button, then press DOWNLOAD. Vidizza reads the post and shows a preview of the video.

    Save the MP4 or the MP3

    Choose Download Video to save the MP4 in the best quality Instagram provides, or Download Audio Only to keep the sound as an MP3 file.

Limits and tips

  • Instagram Stories are not supported at the moment, and photo posts cannot be saved. Paste the link of a Reel or a video post instead.
  • Posts from private accounts cannot be downloaded, because Vidizza can only read public content.
  • To keep the service working for everyone, each platform has a fair-use limit per IP address. If you save a lot of videos in a short time, wait a little before the next one.
  • On iPhone, Safari saves the file to Files > Downloads. On Android and on computers it goes to your browser's Downloads folder.
  • Only save videos you made yourself or have permission to keep, and credit the creator when you share their work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download Instagram Stories?

Not at the moment. Vidizza supports Reels and video posts. If you paste a Story link, you will see a message asking for a post or Reels link instead.

Can I save Instagram photos?

No. Vidizza saves videos: Reels and video posts, or their audio as an MP3. Photo posts are not supported.

Do I need to log in to Instagram?

No. You only paste the link. Vidizza never asks for your Instagram username or password, and you do not need a Vidizza account either.

What quality are Instagram videos saved in?

Vidizza keeps the original resolution: Reels and video posts are saved as MP4 files in the best quality Instagram provides.

Why does an Instagram link not work?

Usually the account is private, the post was deleted, or the link points to a Story or a photo. Copy the link of a public Reel or video post from the Share menu and try again.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Open vidizza.com in Safari, paste the link and download. Safari saves the file to Files > Downloads, and from there you can share it to your Photos.
